Curriculum
Tilak Education programme is designed for a holistic development of the students. The spacious, well designed and equipped classrooms assist the right learning of the students.
In the early years of learning, emphasis is given on the areas of:
Language and Literacy:
- Listening and Speaking
- Reading and Writing
- Language structure and use
- Thinking and Reasoning
Mathematics (Numerals):
- Numbers (e.g. counting symbols)
- Patterns (e.g. copying and creating)
- Space and Shape (e.g. geometry)
- Measurement (e.g. time, length, mass)
General Awareness:
- Health promotion
- Social awareness
- Personality development
Physical Development:
Pupils will be involved in activities that build motor skills and develop coordination through games and various exercises, along with other group activities.
Music, Movement, Dance and Drama are exposed to lively classes with songs, dances, action and role play.
Development of hobby and leisure time activities are essential for every child. So special coaching for music, dance, drawing, painting and craft work is arranged at regular intervals.
The School encourages creative writing. The collection of written poems, short stories, articles, travel stories, are published at regular intervals in English, Hindi and Marathi.
